Sonic: Tears

This fanfic will be quite different. It'll actually contain some short stories on how some tears are shed within one of the soulmates or together. The pairings will include Sonamy, Taiream, Shadouge, Charine and Vectilla. It'll show that some characters that cry don't make them weak. It only lets out their emotion, stress, and sometimes their feelings. It'll have happy moments, it'll have sad moments. But it shows that they are capable of human emotions. Just like all of us. Just not with temper tantrums of course.

Sonamy

5 years have passed since Sonic and Amy became boyfriend and girlfriend. Sonic was 21 and Amy was 18. They lived in Amy's cottage around the woods. Amy was cooking up some brownies while Sonic was walking downstairs hiding something. Sonic then proceeds to come up to Amy.

Sonic: Good morning, sweet Rose.

Amy: Oh, heh... Morning, Sonic!

Sonic: Wonderful day out, huh? The Flickys are chirping, all the sunflowers are blossoming... A perfect day for a picnic, huh?

Amy: Yeah. I'm baking up some brownies for a party that Rouge and Shadow are having. Let's hope she doesn't escalate things quickly.

Sonic: *chuckles* Who knows, she might take that Master Emerald again, even if Angel Island is already maneuvered onto the ocean waters.

Amy laughs at that response. Hearing Amy's laughter would make Sonic's day. But he's about to make her day shine even brighter.

Amy: Haha! Oh, Sonic. You always crack me up!

Sonic: ...Amy?

Amy suddenly notices Sonic's sincerity and turns around fully to see Sonic with his face looking at the floor.

Amy: Yes, Sonic?

Sonic: You remember back in Metropolis City? Back when you were the silly fun girl that loves to chase me around.

Amy: Well yeah, I still chase you around all the time! What made you think that?

Sonic: Do you remember what your intentions were me were.

Amy: Um... OH! I just remembered. Heh, how naive I was back then.

Sonic: Well... *gets down to one knee* Would you like to make this dream into a reality, Amy Rose? *holds out a wedding ring*

This shocks Amy. Not only was her past flashing before her eyes, but she is finally getting the offer to marry Sonic the Hedgehog. Her life long dream was about to become a reality. She puts her hands on her mouth and released all of her tears in joy.

Amy: YES! I will marry you, Sonic the Hedgehog! I love you so much!

Amy runs up to Sonic and proceeds to kiss him passionately. Sonic knew that he made the right choice. He still would like to run, but he also wants a challenge that he'll remember in his lifetime. And that challenge is to bring love and receive love to his special one.

Taiream

In the present day, it was a rainy day at the house of Cream and Vanilla. Tails was hanging out at Cream's place because the weather was gonna get stormy. Cream checks up on Tails.

Cream: Hey, Tails? Are you ok?

Tails turns around with a serious, semi-sad face.

Tails: Cream... Is crying a good thing for the Mobian body?

Cream: Well, to tell you the truth, yes. I believe it can help relieve stress, clear up your eyes and help express your feelings. What made you think of that?...

Tails: Well... I miss my mama...

Cream: Well, where is she?

Tails: *tears up and chokes up a little* She's gone.

Cream: *gasps* A-As in...

Tails: Yeah... Ever since I was born...

Cream didn't know what to think. She never knew that Tails' mother died and feels regretful.

Cream: I...I think I understand your pain when a family member dies... I still remember back then... When my mama told me about... Daddy's...

Tails: R-Right... Cream? C-Can I have a hug?

Cream: Sure...

Cream heads up to Tails and hugs him softly. Tails immediately responds by hugging her back. After a few seconds, she felt some droplets on her shoulders. It was Tails starting to cry. This saddens Cream too due to the loss of her father and she joins in crying.

Tails: I'm s-so sorry to hear a-about your d-dad!

Cream: And I'm s-sorry that your mom is g-gone too!

Tails could feel Cream's whimpering from his chest while Cream can hear Tails' sad, yet adorable whines from her head. Their crying eventually calmed them down. When they calmed down and looked at each other with tear-filled eyes. They hug tighter and they gently kissed each other. When they let go, they felt a little better but they still had tears streaming out.

Tails: *sniff* I love you, Cream...

Cream: *whimper* I love you t-too, Tails... 

They then went upstairs to Cream's room and decided to take a nap together. They went on her bed and cuddled and comforted each other. Even if they felt their own tears, they felt much safer with each other hand in hand, and heart to heart.

Shadouge

On a lone grassy field, Shadow and Rouge were fighting Metal Sonic. Shadow was using brute force while Rouge was using strategy to take down the robotic rebel.

Shadow: I got the left, Rouge. You take the right!

Rouge: On it!

As Metal detects Shadow's presence and is mainly focused onto it, Rouge gives it a surprise kick from behind and takes the blow. As Shadow and Rouge regroup, they noticed the robot was weaker than usual. Its arm was sliced off, it had a couple dents, and had multiple scratches from the fight. Clearly, this wasn't the real Metal Sonic.

Shadow: Hmph, must be a decoy of the real deal. I guess this wasn't that bad of a fight as I thought it would be,

Suddenly, the robot starts to show a holographic reel clip of the ARK being taken. This brings Shadow into a shock when he sees the one person he cared for in the past.

Shadow: M-Maria...

Rouge: H-How did Eggman get that footage? That should be top secret and shouldn't be shown to anyone else. The nerve of that Eggman...

As Shadow saw the footage where Maria got shot, he snapped. He rushed in towards the weakened Metal Sonic and punched the processor out of its head.

Shadow: No one... EVER brings up Maria in vain! She lived a happy life by my side up till then! You're going straight to-

Rouge: Shadow! Calm down!

But Shadow could hear her over his rage. His tears were flowing out of his eyes while veins were forming around his dark red fur. It was obvious that the robot is long gone from refunctioning. Rouge noticed that Shadow was about to do a chaos blast. Rouge ran up and went in front of him just about when he was about to say "Chaos Blast". Shadow put his fist frozen in place while panting.

Rouge: Shadow, don't worry about Maria. She's in a happier place. You have me now, remember that. It's ok.

Rouge then puts her hands on Shadow's shoulders. When Shadow finally calmed down from Rouge's soft side, he broke down. Rouge released tears from feeling bad from Shadow.

Rouge: Shh... I got you. I'll always love you no matter what.

Shadow: I-I love you too, Rouge...

Rouge then rocked him gently and sang a song that Maria used to sing whenever she felt down in the past. This makes Shadow feel more safe and more secure with Rouge by his side.

Shadow: M-Maria... I hope you're doing well in heaven.

Charine

On a warm summer day, Charmy and Marine were out on their ship exploring the ocean.

Marine: This is quite the adventure, isn't it, Charmy?

Charmy: Yeah, it's quite fun to explore and see what things you haven't discovered. 

A pair of dolphins was jumping out of the water and catches the eyes of Charmy and Marine.

Marine: Ooh! Look at that!

Charmy: Man, it would be SICK if we got to ride on them!

Suddenly the two dolphins were sunken to the bottom by an unknown force.

Charmy: Huh? W-Where'd they go?

When they looked off the edge of their boat, a giant robotic squid monster popped out. No one was controlling it as it is revealed to be going haywire.

Marine: That monster has those dolphins captive! We've got to get them out of there, lad!

Charmy: I'm on it!

As Charmy comes up and stings the squid in the eye, it squirts out poisonous ink from it's mouth onto Charmy.

Marine: Charmy! Hey, you beast! You hurt my bestie! You're gonna get it now!

Using her water powers, Marine managed to release a water blast knocking the squid off into the sea. Marine saw Charmy falling to the water and she reacted quickly. She got out a giant net built inside her mobile workshop within the boat and caught Charmy.

Marine: ...Got you...

Marine held onto Charmy went inside the boat and went to the bunker. She placed Charmy on a soft cushion. She also fed him some medicine that heals the poison ink that was within his body and washed him off. 1 hour later, Charmy woke up and saw Marine with tears when she noticed that he woke up. She ran up and hugged him!

Charmy: M-Marine, don't worry. I-I'm fine!

But she was not crying of worry, she was crying of laughter.

Charmy: Marine?

Marine: That was an amazing discovery we just found! And the boat caught it on camera from the camera that Tails helped me install. I'm really glad that we went on this adventure. And you were quite brave for poking that monster in the eye, mate! You're a real cute hero.

Charmy: Thanks! You're not bad yourself for rescuing me.

Marine: You really did a good deed for the dolphins back there. So in return, I'm giving you a reward.

Charmy: What is it?

Marine pecked Charmy on the lips. Charmy blushed to her reaction.

Marine: A kiss. And an offer of eternal love.

Charmy: Well, if there's more kisses where that came from, I will definitely be your boyfriend.

Marine squeals of joy and kisses Charmy everywhere. On his lips, on his cheeks, on his forehead and on his nose. Suddenly, they heard the dolphins called out to them. They notice and came on the deck and saw the dolphins offering a ride for them around the boat.

Charmy: They're offering us a ride around the boat for their graditude! This is what I dreamed of doing!

Marine: Then let's go, lad!

Charmy and Marine jumped onto the two dolphins for each of them. They were on their backs and were swimming around the boat while the boat was on auto pilot. Charmy and Marine had quite an adventure.

Vectilla

Vanilla was sitting on her couch watching TV. She noticed the recent amount of violence around Mobius. She sighs in despair of seeing non-nonsensical violence broadcasted on her cable.

Vanilla: Why do people do stuff like this? It's the same thing that got... ... 

She tears up after the thought of losing her original husband, Peanut. He died while fighting against Eggman who managed to escape leaving Peanut's death in vain. Vector came into the room Vanilla was in to grab a snack but he notices Vanilla silently sobbing. He comes up to her, sits on the couch and puts his hand around her shoulders.

Vector: Hey, Vanilla, what's wrong?

Vanilla: Oh, V-Vector. I-It's nothing. I'm just crying because...

Vector: Honey, you can talk the real reason to me on why? I know you're hiding the truth. I'm a detective after all.

Vanilla: ...I just miss Peanut. I wonder if I'm cheating on him or not. Would he want me to do this?

Vector: Sweetie, it's alright. I'm sure he would allow me to be with you to take his place and cover the missing patches from your happiness.

Vanilla: Thank you, Vector... It's just that... all of this nonsensical violence is going around lately. Does a fist bring a solution to a problem? Does one Mobian have to go animal on another for no reason? I just want all of this brutal violence to end...

Vector: Well sadly not all problems have a happy solution and we can't turn back the clock and prevent it from happening. We just have to embrace what life gives us. Good or bad. But I do agree that all of this violence beginning from nothing needs to stop. I just want to know why violence like this happens?...

Vanilla: Thank you... Vector...

She begins to cry. Vector hugs her tightly into a strong hug. Despite being a crocodile, he sheds a tear due to hearing Vanilla's whimpering quietly on his chest while he strokes her soft hair. Later that night, Vanilla was in a dream. She was in a cloudy area. She she saw a golden gate and it opens.

Vanilla: Huh? Who's... *gasps* It... it's you...

Out of the gate's flare lens, came a rabbit figure. It was Peanut and he was an angel. Her tears began to gush out like geysers.

Vanilla: A-Am I...?!

Peanut: No, Vanilla. You're not dead. You're only in a dream.

Vanilla: B-But... How...?

Peanut: The dreamscape and afterlife are connected with the spiritual energy they both store. You are able to see me any time.

Vanilla: Peanut, a-am I doing the right thing? Is being with Vector making you m-mad at all?

Peanut: *comes up and puts his hand on her shoulder* Of course not. I understand that he's here to heal what has been broken. He may be a klutz, but he has a heart of gold.

Vanilla hugs Peanut and bawls loudly. Yet only he and she can hear while everyone else in the afterlife is doing their business.

Peanut: Shh... You're doing a great job raising our daughter.

Vanilla: Thank you... 

Peanut: Looks like the dream energy is fading. Keep moving forward for me, ok?

Vanilla: I will.

As Vanilla and Peanut say their goodbyes, Vanilla's dream vision begins to fade to black. When she wakes up, she notices her daughter with orange pajamas and a stuffed chao plush.

Cream: Mama? Are you crying.

Vanilla sniffles and lets Cream hug her.

Vanilla: I was. And I still am. But with relief.

Cream: Can I sleep with you and daddy?

Vanilla: Of course you can.

Cream scratches Vector's back and he smiles from the reaction. Cream and Vanilla both smile with teary eyes.

Cream: Good night, mama.

Vanilla: Good night, Cream.
