Chapter Five Getting Through to the Heart At the Island Fortress, Dr Eggman had managed to return to his base of operations without the use of his destroyed Egg Mobile, but just how he managed to get from one island to another is quite the mystery, and will most likely never be answered. Anyway, Eggman had long since returned to his HQ on the volcanic island, where inside the laboratory, he was busy working at his desk trying to construct a small hand held device that would help him search for the rest of the seven Chaos Rings, while in the background, Orbot and Cubot were printing off the earlier information regarding the history and power descriptions of the Chaos Rings, which Eggman requested to be printed off should he need it just in case. Right now, Eggman was working on his handheld device, which was being called the ‘Chaos Energy Detector’, a device that would help locate and find where each individual ring would be hidden on Bygone Island just by scanning an area that
